Cooking Instructions

Hot Entrees

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Cook frozen or defrosted. (Instructions are for frozen cook time. If defrosted, cooking times will be shorter.)
  • For Meat Pies
    • Place on a cookie sheet
    • Bake uncovered for approximately 1 to 1.5 hours until golden brown and bubbly.
  • For Cheese-topped Entrees
    • Place on a cookie sheet.
    • Remove plastic lid and cover with foil.
    • Bake for 1 hour.
    • Uncover and cook for another 15 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  • For Chicken Entrees
    • Place on a cookie sheet.
    • Remove plastic lid and cover with foil.
    • Bake for 45 minutes.
    • Uncover and cook for another 15 minutes.

Apple Pies

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Brush pie with milk and sprinkle liberally with sugar.
  • Bake the pie for approximately 1.5 hours until golden brown.
  • Apple pies should be tested by inserting a skewer into the center of the pie. When finished, the fruit should be soft.

Other Fruit Pies and Turnovers

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Brush pie with milk and sprinkle liberally with sugar.
  • Bake the pie or turnover for approximately 1 to 1.5 hours until golden brown.

Pumpkin, Squash and Custard Pies

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Bake each pie for approximately 1 to 1.5 hours.
  • Test the pie with a knife; the knife should come out clean.

Crisps

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Bake crisp uncovered for approximately 1 hour, until bubbly and golden brown.
  • Test the apple crisp by inserting a small knife into the center of the pan. When finished, the fruit should be soft.

Tea Breads and Rolls

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Heat for 5-10 minutes.
